Pakistan cinema has progressed a lot in short span of time.’War’ was the first Lollywood movie to taste the success and grab the attention of the Bollywood lover Pakistanis and the rest is history. Nabeel Qureshi and Fizza Ali Meerza, the powerful duo who are continuously trying to highlight the social issues of the society that no one dares to touch even. Each movie of this twosome is a perfect blend of witty comedy, full entertainment and a social awakening message.
Load wedding, their latest release, is one of its kind. This movie revolves around the issue of dowry and how badly it has stigmatized our society. Fahad Mustafa and Mehwish Hayat play the lead role of two Punjabi lovebirds of same muhallah who throughout the movie are worried about baby baji’s wedding. The movie very creatively makes one aware of the throttling ‘rawaj’ of the society which are being followed blindly by coming generations and hence spoiling the public more. For those who found it normal to make list of dowry during everyone wedding, gawking on the bride’s dowry, scrunching their noses by gossiping about the brides jewelry this movie is a perfect delight (trust me you will be sweating with embarrassment after watching it and won’t be able to say SANU KI?).
The movie will make you stick to the edge of the chair after interval. You would be left nail biting till the end, for real. The gameshow of Aashiq Bhai is a perfect crisp to the movie and his acting would give you fits of laughter.Fahad Mustafa Ranjha type love for his Heer will make you go awww and would make you reconsider dehaati boys once again (jo bhi kaho SACHAY AASHIQ hotay hein bhai). The strong and natural acting of Fahad Mustafa and Mehwish Hayat is cherry on the top. I’ll rate this movie 8/10.
Now, go get you tickets for the movie and don’t forget to take gossip lover aunties along. Trust me this is your best investment to marry in peace in near future or if you are already married, you can still give these aunties a side looks of KHUDA KA KHOOF KAREIN.
