25th of July 2018, the day of General Elections in The Islamic Republic of Pakistan, was also the day that brought a positive change in the lives of millions of Pakistanis. The success of Pakistan Tehreek-e-Insaaf as the largest political party is the beacon of hope for the oppressed citizens. Illiteracy could be a possible reason for their oppression because a great majority of people are unaware of their own rights and obviously cannot tell which party is actually working for their benefit. This is evident from the long regimes of corrupt people who were previously being elected by the masses again and again.
Yesterday, the election for Prime Minister of Pakistan was held and the success of chairman PTI, Imran Khan, proved that the people of Pakistan have, after realizing their mistake, made up for it. The most inspiring thing about our new Prime Minister is that he did not badmouth anyone. He refrained himself from babbling allegations unlike those in opposition. After waiting for 22 whole years, this man was not even allowed to properly express himself on the day of his long-awaited success. Even then IK managed to smile and kept his calm. He promised the nation that he would eliminate corruption, that justice would prevail throughout and that thieves would not be given NROs. He is the only person who claimed that he would do is best to make Pakistan similar to the city state of Madina Munawwara. After twenty-two years of waiting and remaining hopeful, he achieved his goal and has become an emblem of hard work for the whole world. Such an energetic leader is what the distressed nation needed as it is a time of great social unrest. The current leadership of PTI has made the government functionaries liable to penalty if they fail to provide services to citizens in a timely manner. This is truly based on the principles of Islam and I hope that our beloved Pakistan will progress (In sha Allah) under the leadership of the newly elected PM Imran Khan.
Today the official oath taking ceremony took place and Imran Khan has taken the oath as the 22nd Prime Minister of the Islamic Republic of Pakistan. This moment will change history because after Quaid-e-Azam Muhammad Ali Jinnah, IK has come with a mandate and has millions of people supporting him. It’s as if history is repeating itself after approximately seventy years because 70 years back Muhammad Ali Jinnah gave direction to the Muslims, especially the youngsters and used their energy and vigor to create a new and Just Islamic State. Today, a man with a similar vision i.e. of creating a ‘Naya Pakistan’ and giving rights to all the citizens on the basis of equality has become their leader. All of us hope that this leadership is going to bring a really positive change in the affairs of Pakistan and that the PM elect will do his best to fulfill all the promises that he made. Way to go Pakistan!
